Computers - desktop - what to ask before you buy
1. Should I buy a desktop or a laptop computer?
These days you can buy laptops that are considered 'desktop replacement' machines. They have a decent size screen and equivalent specifications to the normal desktop computer.
If you're likely to move your computer around a bit, or desk space is at a premium, a laptop could be more suitable. And if you don't like the laptop keyboard, you can always plug in a normal keyboard and use a mouse instead of the touchpad.
You can also get desktops where the computer 'box' is much smaller than the traditional PC case.
