2. How many megapixels do I need in a digital SLR camera?
The more megapixels you have, the larger you can print photos without loss of quality. These days, you probably wouldn't buy a new SLR digital camera with less than 8-10 megapixels, which will allow you to easily print up to A3. Obviously if you plan to print your photos bigger than that, you'll need more megapixels.
