5. How long does the dishwasher take to wash the dishes?
Some wash cycles can take up to two hours, while others can finish in 20 minutes. Often the extended time is taken up by the drying part of the cycle. You may be able to shorten this by turning the machine off and opening the door to allow the dishes to dry naturally, once they have been heated (by the heating lement or by a final hot rinse).
