6. How flexible is the dishwasher to load?
Look for adjustable/removable racks. Or consider a 'drawer' style dishwasher. That way, you are can adapt the dishwasher to the load (lots of small things or fewer large things). One thing to consider particularly is if the dishwasher will fit large plates (if you use them). Take a plate and check that it fits before you buy. Some machines will take large plates or tall glasses, but not both in the same load.
