10. What safety features does the dishwasher have? 
Ask if the dishwasher has a water cutout to ensure the water is turned off if there's a leak from the machine or hoses to prevent flooding.
Make sure it has a child proof door latch. If there are children around, you'll also need to be careful that they don't have access to dishwasher detergents or rinse aids.
