11. What kind of inputs and outputs does the DVD recorder have?
Take a note of what connection options your existing equipment requires. Make sure the recorder has high quality connection options such as Component, S-video, FireWire and/or HDMI (for great quality picture on a flat screen tv). Without high quality connections, the picture quality will suffer.
